Episode 71 - Dr Kirrily Moore (TMAG) - Part 2

In this episode we hear Part 2 of Craig's interview with Dr Kirrily Moore, marine scientist and Collection Manager for Invertebrate Zoology at the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery (TMAG).  Kirrily first talks of her PhD, done while on leave from TMAG, with the intriguing topic of "Southern Ocean octocorals and Norwegian taxonomic riddles", which included a trip to Antarctica on Aurora Australis. She also neatly explains the importance of taxonomy and how essential it is, in most scientific investigations, to know precisely what species you are working on!  And among other things, Kirrily also describes, entertainingly, the tasks associated with managing TMAG's invertebrate collections.
