Program Changes
From Monday 21 April we are bring back an old favourite Talking Tech and a newcomer Seeing Eye Dog Show to replace the daytime airing of Stick Together and Space Nuts, whose content we believe better suits our late night audience on Tuesday night.
From Friday 18 April New Horizon, (airing Fridays at 8:45am and repeated the following week on Wednesdays at 3:45pm), will be taking a well deserved break to be renewed in 3 to 4 months, possibly as a half hour show! Meanwhile we are bringing you a replacement from our friends at 2RPH Sydney called Profile, which as you might guess is a collection of readings of life stories of the famous, the infamous – and the quiet achievers.
From Sunday 6th April we.ve decided to take onboard one listeners’ request to move the somewhat noisier programs of Weeks 1 Let the Bands Play and Week 2 Hit Parade of Yesterday to an evening slot and replace the corresponding program to the morning time slot. Check it out and let us know if you concur with our listeners’ request, I think he is spot? we’ve also included a new Sunday morning program on Week 1 called What’s in Space, and no, it’s not about UFOs!
We will be airing the popular Print Radio Tasmania podcast series, Literacy Legends every Wednesday from the 9th April at 9:45am, just prior to the live broadcast of the daily local newspapers, and repeated at 3:30pm that afternoon. As such regular programming in those timeslots will be suspended for a period of 6 weeks. We hope you enjoy what promises to be a very entertaining and informative 15 minutes of your time each week.
From the 26th March, we are introducing a new and unusual insight into news and creative writing content for and by incarcerated people. It will replace CRN Extras airing 9:45pm Wednesday on Week 2.
