Episode 63: Assoc. Prof. Neville Barrett (IMAS)

Craig's interview guest in this episode is Associate Professor Neville Barrett, a Research Fellow of the Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies (IMAS), University of Tasmania.  Neville has a long history of working for the benefit of Tasmania's marine environments, and more broadly, including doing lots of research into marine biodiversity, providing the information essential for important decisions on the establishment and monitoring of marine protected areas. You will hear Neville talk about all such things but also about his history of work on threatened species in Tasmanian waters, including the Spotted Handfish and the Maugean Skate.  And he provides interesting reflections on how the 'workings' of marine science have changed over the years.
