Episode 55: Assessment of Tasmania's scalefish fishery and more…

For this episode, in lieu of an interview guest, Craig reads several recently published articles on various 'marine-flavoured' topics. The first two articles come from the news website of the Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies, University of Tasmania: The 2020/2021 assessment of Tasmania's scalefish fishery; and Researchers mapping the heat beneath Antarctica's icesheets. Then follows two articles from the Hakai Magazine Coastal Societies (Canada) website: Indigenous sea gardens offering possible solutions to marine acidification; and a Discussion on the pro's and con's of California's new regulations restricting fishing of White Sharks. The final article is one from the website of the Australian Museum; a blog post from the Lizard Island Research Station on the 2022 coral spawning event.
