Episode 54: Tyson Bessell (IMAS)

Craig’s interview guest in this episode is Tyson Bessell, a marine biologist and ecologist and who is in the final stages of completing a PhD with the Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies (IMAS), University of Tasmania; an investigation of the population biology and ecology of the critically endangered red handfish, Thymichthys politus. You will hear Tyson talk about his earlier research on spotted handfish, including the novel method for individual fish recognition, and then onto discussing the three key questions he has addressed for red handfish.
