Episode 12: Olivia Dove (IMAS)

This episode of Vibes Under The Sea features an interview with Olivia ("Olly") Dove, who is a marine ecologist, and currently a year and a half into her PhD at the Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies, University of Tasmania. Olly's PhD project focuses on the influences of fine-scale environmental variation and anthropogenic factors on the foraging ecology of Short-tailed Shearwaters and Little Penguins. Her primary field study site is Wedge Island in SE Tasmania and you will hear Olly relate interesting and engaging tales of doing her research while working and living in a remote environment for weeks on end.  She also talks about her passion for science communication and her activities in that area.
