Episode 2: Dr Javier Porovic Garate (CSIRO) and Dr Alyce Hancock (IMAS)
This episode features interviews with CSIRO scientist Dr Javier Porobic-Garate, who is an ecosystem modeller from Chile, and with Dr Alyce Hancock, a scientist with the Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies (University of Tasmania) and who is the Science and Communications Officer for the Southern Ocean Observing System (SOOS). Among the many interesting things you will hear are Javier telling us how he learnt about fisheries first-hand on a fishing vessel, at sea for 6 months, and Alyce relating the good and the bad about being down in Antarctica for an 18 month stretch.
