Episode 108: Ron Mawbey (former Senior Technical Officer in Zoology, UTas) - Part 2

This episode features Part 2 of my interview with Ron Mawbey, a former Senior Technical Officer in Zoology and Scientific Dive Officer at University of Tasmania, underwater videographer, conservationist and naturalist. Ron talks more about his excursions with Zoology students to various places in Tasmania and about the areas of bushland that he and others have been able to preserve in habitat conservation for Tasmanian wildlife. He also talks of the history of Aquenal, a company that he, with others, established in the mid-1990s to assess marine, estuarine and freshwater habitats. The latter part of the interview features Ron relating his Australian Rules Football history, including the 1967 Tasmanian State Premiership Final, famously known as 'the Goalpost Final'; a very entertaining story.
