Episode 101: Craig Proctor (CSIRO - retired) - Part 2

This episode features Part 2 of Vibes Under The Sea host, Craig Proctor, being interviewed by Dr Peter Last and Alan Williams, both former Senior Scientists with CSIRO in Hobart.  You will hear Craig relate stories around his many trips to Indonesia for collaborations on marine fisheries, including how a website was developed to specifically address the difficulties that Indonesian fisheries field officers often experience in identifying, to species, fish in 'less than fresh condition'. This Part 2 of the interview does not carry much science and even ventures into football and underwater hockey following the probing questions of the guest interviewers. But it does include Craig explaining the origins of the program and his thoughts for its future.  In the latter part of the episode, Craig reads a recently published article sourced from the website of the Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies, University of Tasmania, on trends observed in Tasmania's recreational fishing sector (outcomes of the 2022-23 Survey of Recreational Fishing in Tasmania).
