Craig's interview guest in this episode of Vibes Under The Sea is a former Principal Research Scientist with CSIRO, physical oceanographer, Ken Ridgway, who continues to be very active in research as a CSIRO Honorary Post-Retirement Fellow. Ken relates many interesting stories, including his path from being a teacher in a country town in NW Victoria to joining CSIRO in 1982. He tells of the move of CSIRO Division of Fisheries and Oceanography from Cronulla to Hobart, provides insights into the Leeuwin and East Australian Currents, and also, his thoughts around how the field of oceanography has changed through time
