Episode 1: Dark Tas

In episode 1 of this new fortnightly series of dark fiction and horror stories, local author/editor/publisher Steve Dillon reads 2 complete short stories from the book Dark Tas (2022)

• The first story is Steve’s own short-short story "The Mountain that Wasn’t", and deals with a young boy’s gradual acceptance of his own loss and grief as triggered by the shocking realization that the mountain Kunanyi has disappeared.

• The second story by Angela J. Maher, “Tasmanian Devils” deals with the consequences of camping where you shouldn’t... and serves as a reminder of how hostile the Tasmanian wilderness can be and why you should never go it alone...
