Interview with Eddie Rocatti

A speaker familiar to those who have been following previous Wicking Centre interviews with Print Radio will now hear him talk about early detction and prevention of dementia. They are halfway through this 10 year project. Being a volunteer participant in this research has lead to a 25% reduction of dementia risk and so is clearly of immense value. The importance of volunteers to continue returning to complete questionnaires as they come around is key to the continuation of this vital project. Eddie also talks about “Island Campus”, a route for volunteer participants to engage in UTAS courses leading to possible Diplomas, Associate Degrees, Bachelor Degrees etc.
